What happens after the 14-day trial?

You add a payment method when you sign up — you're only charged after the 14 days end. If gastrotodo isn't the right fit for your business, you cancel within the trial in one click and nothing is billed.

Do I need new hardware or tablets?

No. Team members who want to use their own smartphone can do so (iOS or Android). For shared devices, kiosk mode works on any standard tablet — you don't need to buy anything gastrotodo-specific.

Does every team member need their own email address?

Yes. Each team member needs their own email address — it's their login and the basis for personalized documentation: HACCP tasks, mandatory briefings and photo evidence are assigned unambiguously to one person. On a shared tablet in kiosk mode, a tap on the name is still enough — the login happens in the background.

"I explained it briefly" doesn't help at the next audit. Without a signed proof there's no evidence the briefing took place at all.

Recurring duties slip through daily life

Hygiene briefing yearly, fire safety every two years, first aid on a regular cycle. Who keeps track of who was last briefed when? Excel helps until someone forgets to update it.

Language barriers with casual and seasonal staff

Briefing texts are in German — the team member speaks Russian, Polish or English. They didn't really understand it, but they signed.

Title, briefing text in the editor (bold, lists, headings, links), and you pick the audience: whole team, a department, a site — or a combination. Mandatory briefings for the kitchen, general ones for the whole team.

Recurring with one click

Activate recurrence and set the interval — 365 days for yearly training, 730 days for biennial. The briefing reappears automatically for the right team members.

Read confirmation with timestamp

Team member sees the due briefing with a book icon on the tasks page. Taps it, reads, confirms with "I have read and understood the briefing". Confirmation with date lands in the HACCP record.

Onboarding with a welcome message

New team members see your personalised welcome message right after registration — with the placeholder `<name>`, info on shift and point of contact. Briefings then wait for them in the app.
